How does the deposit work?
Fixed-price services are booked with a 30% deposit through the site — £24 on a Maintenance Clean, £30 on Window Protection, £225 on the Ceramic Coating. The balance is payable on completion. The deposit secures your slot in the diary.
Why are some services 'price on application'?
Paint protection film, vehicle wrapping and interior deep cleans vary enormously depending on the vehicle and its condition. Quoting a single flat price for them would mean either overcharging some customers or underdelivering for others. Send photos and we'll give you a real number.
How do I choose a date?
Submit your deposit or quote request and we'll contact you to arrange a date that works. We don't run a self-service booking calendar — it lets us plan properly around how long each job actually needs.
What if I need to cancel or rearrange?
Cancel more than 24 hours before your booking and your deposit is refunded in full.
Cancel within 24 hours of your booking, or fail to attend, and the deposit is retained.
We work on a small number of cars at a time, and a slot lost at short notice can't realistically be filled. The 24-hour window is there so we can offer the space to someone else. If something genuinely unavoidable comes up, get in touch — we'd always rather rearrange than lose you as a customer.

How often should I book a Maintenance Clean?
Every 2–4 weeks is ideal for a protected car. Regular safe washing stops contaminants bonding to the paint, which is what makes them hard — and risky — to remove later.
Does the Ceramic Coating include paint correction?
Yes. A single-stage machine polish is included before the coating goes on. This matters: a coating seals in whatever is underneath it, so swirl marks left in the paint stay visible for the life of the coating.
Will a single-stage polish remove all my scratches?
It removes the majority of swirl marks, wash marring and light defects, and significantly improves gloss. Deeper scratches that have gone through the clear coat need multi-stage correction. Send photos and we'll tell you honestly what's achievable before you book.
How long does the ceramic coating last?
The coating is rated for 8 years. Real-world durability depends on how the car is washed and stored — coatings last longest on cars that are cleaned regularly using safe technique, which is exactly what the Maintenance Clean is for.
PPF or ceramic coating — which do I need?
They do different jobs. A ceramic coating is a chemical layer: gloss, easier cleaning, resistance to etching and UV. PPF is a physical barrier: it absorbs stone chips and scratches that a coating can't stop. Many people have PPF on high-impact front panels and a coating over the rest of the car.
Will wrapping damage my paint?
Applied and removed properly, no — a wrap protects the paint underneath and comes off cleanly. Problems come from cheap film, poor preparation, or leaving a wrap on far beyond its intended life. We only use professional cast vinyl.
What does Window Protection actually do?
It's a hydrophobic ceramic coating for your glass. Above roughly 40mph, rain clears the windscreen without wipers. Frost releases more easily, bugs wipe off with less effort, and visibility in heavy rain improves noticeably.
Practical
Do you come to me?
No. We work from fixed premises, which is what allows for controlled conditions, proper inspection lighting and dust-free curing. Coatings and film simply can't be applied to a professional standard on a driveway.
How long will my car be with you?
A Maintenance Clean takes a minimum of three hours. Doing it properly — pre-wash, foam, safe contact wash, wheels and arches, careful drying, glass and dressings — simply takes that long. Anyone quoting you forty-five minutes is cutting corners somewhere.
Correction, coating, film and wrapping work takes considerably longer and often runs across more than one day, since coatings need controlled curing time. We'll confirm exactly how long your car will be with us when we arrange your date.
My car is filthy — is that a problem?
Not at all. Every service begins with a full wash and decontamination. That said, for quoted work, photos of the car in its current state help us price accurately.
Are you insured?
Yes — we're fully insured. Your vehicle is covered while it's in our care. If you'd like specifics before booking, just ask and we'll share our cover details.
